Lovecraft himself suffered from a poor consitution his whole life, and there&#039;s not much evidence to suggest he was a drinker; however the mention of wine is common in his stories so it was clearly on his mind. The Lovecraftian Festival held in Portland every year crafted 12 cocktails based on the author, and many of them contained absinthe. So it&#039;s possible he was an absinthe fan.</description>
